Undergraduate Program (B.Tech) The UG programme of Mechanical Engineering Department started way back in 1957 and current intake is 60. Up to 2016-2017 entry batch, the programme was affiliated to Gauhati University and from 2017-2018, it is affiliated to Assam Science and Technology University. The alumni of this department serve various state/central government departments and PSUs and many are successful entrepreneurs.
